The company identified in the Application Confirmation, invoice or other payment document is referred to as the “COMPANY”. The COMPANY operates Czech International Hockey Camp (“CIHC”). The Customer is an adult participant, parent or legal guardian of a minor participant. These Terms, the Application, Application Confirmation and payment document form the contractual documentation.
Article II — Contractual Relationship
- 1. The parties are the COMPANY, operating through CIHC, and the Customer who submits an Application. CIHC reserves a place for the named Participant and the Customer pays the Deposit and Camp Price.
- 2. The relationship is established when CIHC confirms a duly completed Application after payment of the Deposit. Confirmation is normally sent by email and identifies the Camp, final price, contracting COMPANY and relevant details. CIHC may refuse an Application, particularly when capacity is full.
- 3. Application and Confirmation provisions that differ from these Terms prevail.
Article III — Price and Payment Terms
- 1. A non-refundable EUR 100 Deposit is due with the Application or within seven days of a payment request. It covers administration and reservation. It may be transferred to another Camp within three months of payment if CIHC is notified at least one month before both the original and new Camp dates.
- 2. The Confirmation states the total Camp Price. Unless stated otherwise, it includes Article IV services and is due no later than arrival. Payment is made when credited to the applicable account.
- 3. Payment may be made through the secure online gateway, by bank transfer under an issued invoice, or in cash on arrival. Transfers must contain the order number or Participant’s name.
- 4. CIHC may correct pricing errors and modify prices before confirmation. Prices are payable in euros unless checkout states otherwise.
- 5. Where a price or service is incorrect, CIHC may refuse or cancel the Application, reverse any charge and invite a new Application at the correct price.
Article IV — Scope and Changes in Services
- 1. The Camp period and location are those in the Application; detailed start and finish information is communicated by email or online. Costs caused by late arrival or departure are borne by the Customer.
- 2. Depending on the chosen Camp, services usually include on-ice and off-ice training, other sports, accommodation, food, drinks during practice, educational and medical supervision, recreation, a jersey, certificate and souvenir. Unused services are not compensated.
- 3. CIHC may change duration, program, venue or accommodation only in circumstances it did not intentionally cause and which prevent delivery as agreed.
- 4. If accommodation capacity changes, equivalent-category accommodation will be provided and the Customer notified without undue delay.
Article V — Rights and Obligations
1. CIHC
- 1. CIHC provides Article IV services and may modify or cancel the Camp due to force majeure, including flood, infection, government closure or infectious disease, without a refund where the circumstances are outside its control.
- 2. CIHC is not obliged to provide services beyond those confirmed.
- 3. CIHC may withdraw before or during Camp due to false or incomplete Customer information, including medical fitness information.
- 4. CIHC may exclude a Participant if their health cannot safely be managed; they possess or consume alcohol, cigarettes, drugs or harmful substances; leave without permission; endanger themselves or others; disregard rules or staff instructions; or where required health or insurance information is missing or incorrect.
- 5. On exclusion, the Customer bears all resulting costs and receives no proportional refund. A parent or guardian must collect a minor within 24 hours of notice; otherwise the Customer bears transport and related costs.
- 6. CIHC bears no responsibility for the actions or condition described above.
- 7. CIHC is not responsible for loss or deterioration of belongings, especially electronics, jewelry or valuables.
2. Customer and Participant
- 1. The Customer is entitled to properly delivered, paid services and related information.
- 2. The Participant must follow Camp rules and staff instructions. The Customer acknowledges the known and unknown risks of sport and other Camp activities, affected by participants’ fitness and experience, access to care, compliance with rules and staff instructions, and acts or omissions of others.
- 3. The Customer and Participant assume the risk of injury, illness, death, loss, theft or damage occurring during or around Camp activities to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- 4. The Customer is liable for damage caused by the Participant to CIHC, accommodation, other participants, people or property, payable within seven days of receiving the calculation.
- 5. The Participant must carry all required documents, including passport or ID, visa, health insurance card, travel insurance, medical reports and medication. CIHC and the COMPANY are not liable for failures to meet these requirements.
Article VI — Cancellation Policy
- 1. Cancellation notified in writing at least 14 days before Camp receives credit equal to the Camp Price paid, valid for a CIHC Camp within 12 months and transferable only to a family member. The Deposit is non-refundable.
- 2. Cancellation fewer than 14 days before Camp receives a 50% refund of the Camp Price paid; the Deposit remains non-refundable.
- 3. If facility closure or government mandate forces postponement, the Customer receives credit equal to the Camp Price paid, valid for 12 months from the original start date.
- 4. If CIHC cancels for reasons attributable to CIHC or the COMPANY, only the Camp Price and Deposit are refunded. No other payment or compensation is due.
Article VII — Insurance
Insurance is not included. The Customer must arrange medical expense, accident and liability insurance for the Participant and provide confirmation before Camp. CIHC may exclude a Participant who does not provide valid insurance.
Article VIII — Final Provisions
- 1. Submitting an Application confirms that the Customer has received, read, understood and accepted these Terms.
- 2. The Customer confirms the accuracy of Application information and readiness to verify it.
- 3. The Customer consents to electronic exchange of documents. These Terms and the Confirmation are equivalent to a written agreement, and electronic communications satisfy writing requirements.
- 4. Czech law governs these Terms. If one provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder stays effective.
- 5. The COMPANY and CIHC process personal data necessary to fulfil the contract as described in the Privacy Policy. By applying, the Customer agrees that participants may appear in photographs and audiovisual recordings used for documentation and presentation.
Effective from 1 January 2026.
